More extreme Canon lenses coming soon

Canon has had feet on the gas since its release EOS R5 and RF 28-70mm f/2L USM . Lens. It seems they have no intention of slowing down, with two incredibly impressive lenses likely to be released soon.

Digicame-Information recently discovered two lenses have been added to the dealer list, which indicates an imminent release. The lenses are the RF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM and the RF 1200mm f/8L IS USM. It’s no surprise that the 800mm f/5.6L will appear in the RF mount lineup at one point or another; The EF version has long been at the forefront of the respected line of professional supershot cameras from the 200mm f/2L to the aforementioned lenses. Therefore, an RF version may have been planned for a while, and now RF 600mm f/4L IS USM and RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM available, seems like a logical next step.

On the other hand, we haven’t seen a 1200mm lens since the famous 1200mm f/5.6L, and that lens was in extremely limited production (rumored that only about 20 copies were ever produced). As a result, a new 1200mm lens can be quite exciting and will be a very interesting product for many photographers. We’ll see if the next few months make any announcements!
