A viral video online of a doctor trying to remove a small snake from a woman’s ear has gone viral and left people questioning how it was possible.
The bizarre clip, posted on Facebook last week by the Indian social media star Chandan Singhreached more than 125,000 views as of Monday.
“The snake has entered the ear,” the caption read after being translated from Hindi. It is unclear exactly where this event took place, according to the Economic Times.

It is unknown whether the reptile was extracted from the ear in the viral four-minute video
In the nearly four-minute clip, a paramedic is apparently using tweezers as they attempt to pick up the small black and yellow snake, which can be seen poking out of the woman’s ear.
The snake can sometimes be seen opening its mouth and seems quite content to stay where it is, and the doctor is unable to remove it by the time the clip ends.
The doctor used everything from forceps to syringes and Q-tips but still couldn’t get rid of the snake woman’s ear.
It is unclear if the snake was removed from the video. No updates provided beyond the first post.

Meanwhile, some viewers cast doubt on the authenticity of the clip, with one calling it “100% false” while another questioned how the animal was able to stuff its body. it got into the woman’s ear canal.

One skeptic added that the snake wouldn’t be able to get into her ear, meaning it would have to get in a crevice and have space to turn around in such a tight area.
Video is at least the third incident of animals crawling into human ears alone this year
However, this isn’t the first time a creature has gotten into someone’s ear canal.
In January, the Post reported that a New Zealand man had a cockroach in his ear and stayed there for three days.
And in March, a tourist in Puerto Rico caught a crab in their ear canal in another viral video posted to TikTok, which has garnered more than 3.2 million views as of Monday.
