USA Boxing, Metro (“Metro”) continues to host the 2023 Ring Championships: Road to the Garden in New Rochelle with support from the Champs Boxing Club and the Boys & Girls Club.
Boxing fans have experienced some of the best junior amateur boxing in the 147lbs & 165lbs Beginner Men’s weight classes competing in front of an accommodating crowd at the Men’s & Women’s Club. Attached is a table of results and outstanding performances that are eligible for awards from our participating sponsors.
President Ray Cuadrado and Vice President Sonya Lamonakis agreed that this tournament captured the heart and soul of the boxing community in the Metropolitan area. “The combination of the finals at Madison Square Garden and the allure of qualifying for the National Golden Gloves as the Metro Premier League has ingrained the collective psyche of the players. boxing fans.
