Daniel Jones Injury Update
Jones is currently dealing with neck strain according to reports, but the Giants are yet to put the midfielder on the injured Reserve. The hope is that Jones will only miss a week or two due to injury.
New York Daily News Giants beat writer Pat Leonard to report that Jones is considered the week with the injury.
In the second play of the Giants’ Week 12 vs. the Eagles, Jones was hit by a bullet while he was sliding, but he was still in the game. Jones will finish the 19/30 pass from 202 yards and fail to overturn in victory.
In response to the injury, backup QB Mike Glennon is expected to start, according to the report. The Giants have also signed midfielder Jake Fromm from the Bills training team.
In a sublime season, Jones threw 2,428 yards with a 64.1% completion rate, with 10 touchdowns and 7 interceptions to combine with it. The third-year QB also had five failures during the season.
