Dalvin Cook Injury Update: RB Vikings leave field in tears with shoulder injury vs 49ers
The Vikings will have to end their Week 12 game against the 49ers without star re-run Dalvin Cook.
Cook was injured after falling clumsily to the ground while being tackled. He was quick to dribble but was quickly saved by 49ers defender Kevin Givens. Cook leaned back as Givens pushed him to the ground.

Alexander Mattison became the main substitute when Cook left the match. He has started two games this season and averaged 162 yards per game in those competitions. He also had a touchdown earlier in Minnesota’s game with the 49ers when spelling Cook.
Kene Nwangwu will also see action as Mattison’s backup plan. Nwangwu has scored two replays against TD this season and scored his first take home against the 49ers. It went seven yards.
It is unclear how long Cook may be sidelined. Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said that Cook will have an MRI on Monday and the team will know if the disease will end the season after it occurs.
