Ivan Dalos, owner of Tall Oaks Ranch, has devoted more than 45 years to thoroughbred sport and has made significant contributions to the Canadian Horseracing. The Jockey Club of Canada is proud to present Denzil Fonseca with its 2021 Groom of Excellence Award sponsored by OLG. This year marks 40 years of Denzil’s work on Woodbine. He currently works for Michael Doyle, whom he has worked with for over 14 years. Denzil is dedicated, hard-working and extremely diligent while ensuring that each horse he takes care of is his number one priority.
