Compare DJI Osmo Action 3 and GoPro Hero 11 Black: First Look
I own several DJI products – from Unmanned aircraft arrive micro – and recently, I was asked for my thoughts on the new Osmo Action 3 camera, especially how it pairs with the new camera GoPro Hero 11 Black.
Challenge accepted!
Because making an exact comparison between the two cameras will take some time, I thought that as an appetizer I would bring you to take a look at it for the first time and document some of the things I liked and some of the things I liked. I don’t like about this newest field action camera.
This is DJI Osmo Action 3 Adventure Comboslightly different from the base model in terms of accessories, but in terms of cameras, they are the same.

What’s in the box?
In Adventure Combo you get action camera.
Looks familiar…
The set also comes with three “extreme” batteries and a handy carrying/charging case (note that there is confusion on this as some documentation says the kit comes with two, but three) .
Those batteries look and feel familiar.
The set also comes with a wide range of accessories.
There are two accessories that are of particular interest to me. Has a protective frame designed to prevent the camera from being hit too much. Getting the camera inside is a bit tight, so there’s no danger if it accidentally falls out.
Also included in the kit are two quick-detachable magnetic adapter mounts. They can be mounted to the bottom or side of the camera.
I’d love to see how well these stand up to heavy use and if they can keep the camera in place when things start to get rough.
There’s also a telescopic selfie stick that extends up to 1.5 meters allowing you to get in hard-to-reach corners.
Many of the Osmo Action 3’s ergonomic features – from the buttons to the battery cover – remind me of the GoPro Hero 11 Black. This is both good and bad in my opinion. It’s good that the system will be familiar to people from GoPro to the Osmo Action 3, but it’s not so good that it would be nice if you could see a new action camera rather than borrow too much from Go pro. .
So that’s the first look at the new Osmo Action 3.
Yes, it’s an action camera, and yes, it’s very reminiscent of the action cameras GoPro has rolled out over the past few years. But how it looks is secondary to how it works, and my plan was to pit the DJI Osmo Action 3 against the GoPro Hero 11 Black in some real-world testing and see how both perform. as well as the possibility of what kind of output. of production.
Because, at the end of the day, it’s the output that matters.
Keep stable!
