CNN’s Van Jones has a new baby. And the mother is believed to be a Los Angeles city employee – of Mexican descent, MTO News found out.

Van Jones opened up about his unique new family setup after welcoming a baby girl.
The CNN commentator, who has two other children – with a white ex-wife – revealed that he and his friend decided to ‘join forces’ to have a child together.
He told TMZ: ‘After Covid locked the doors, it was clear to me that I wanted another child.
‘I found out that my friend Noemi also wanted to have children. So we decided to join forces and become conscious co-parents. It’s a concept that I hope more people explore and consider. ‘

Van, 53, added: ‘This month we welcomed a baby girl to Earth, which we will raise as co-parenting buddies. This is a special time for our family. I feel grateful, excited and lucky. ‘
The star was previously married to Jana Carter – the niece of former US President Jimmy Carter – in 2005 and they welcomed two children; Mattai and Cabral.
After a 14-year marriage, Jones and Jana split and divorced in 2019.
