Citizen’s new Promaster Tsuno Chrono 50th Anniversary model celebrates a chronograph from 1973 appreciated for its panda-style dial and pushers on the ‘bullhead’ case.

While retaining both highlights of that iconic design, the new anniversary edition also exudes an exciting 1970s feel of Citizen’s bullhead-style Challenge Chronograph that was so collectible for the era.

For this anniversary model, Citizen has taken that vintage aura to the next level by creating a rich gold and black tone.
Limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide and individually numbered, Citizen Tsuno Chrono 50th Anniversary Model offers a gold-tone 45mm Promaster steel case with bullhead-style black chronograph pushers that match the black bezel very well.
At the same time, Citizen gold plated the crown at 12 o’clock and the alarm crown at 5 o’clock to perfectly coordinate the color of the case and dial.
Against this black and gold background, the watch’s luminous sword-style hands and orange chronograph hands grab your attention easily, especially useful when using a chronograph or checking the time.
Inside Citizen matches its light source Ecological drive Caliber E210, has an eight-month power reserve on a full charge. Water resistance is strong 200 meters.
The watch comes with a distinctive yellow Promaster case and a removable leather watch winding.
The movement offers a flyback chronograph function with a 60-minute total time at 12 o’clock, a running seconds display at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour total timer at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, date display, and an alarm on/off indicator from 4 o’clock to 5 o’clock.
