I look at clothes for a living, attend press presentations for future collections, popular driving testand scour every brand new part coming everyday, and somehow I try not to succumb to the desire to actually buy them all. Fashion Week, though, is an entirely different story. And after seven days of non-stop fashion stimulation, I gave in to temptation and shopped to my heart’s content—or rather, my credit line.
Although I have barely finished researching the contents of the collections I just witnessed the premiere, I DO pretty well capture the items that made the biggest buzz during the past week in New Yorkfrom the domination of red on the runway (as well as outside street) with countless bows, glamorous knitwear, jewelry and artistic hardware, among other dangerously beautiful things.
