Chris Noth fired from CBS series ‘The Equalizer’ following sexual assault allegations
Chris Noth has been dropped from the CBS series “The Equalizer” following allegations he sexually assaulted several women.
Noth plays William Bishop in the film alongside star Queen Latifah.
“Chris Noth will not be filming additional episodes of ‘The Equalizer,’ effective immediately,” Universal Television and CBS said in a statement.
Noth was also removed by his talent agency.
A spokesperson for A3 Artists Agency told Deadline he is “no longer a client.”
Several women have accused him of sexual assault but he claims all interactions were consensual.
A third woman has come forward to report that she sexually assaulted her.
“The story is completely fabricated and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction,” a representative for Noth said in a statement to NBC News. “Chris has no idea who this individual is and, as said yesterday, has and will never cross that line.”
Noth is to lose all the bags.
