Chocobo GP mobile game ‘free’ arrives on convertible release
Front Chocobo GP, the new Switch racing section starring celebrities Final Fantasy bird, Square Enix has released an action game on mobile phones also summon Chocobo GP’. The only difference is the quotes after the name and how it is played.
While Switch is a simple, competitive racing title, the mobile entry is more of a balance. It only uses two virtual buttons. One moved the Chocobo, who had a Moogle named Alta perched on his back, forward. The other moves them back. You need to get from one end of the level to the other as quickly as possible, collecting treasure along the way. In the end there will be jumps and dangers as you do. When you encounter these, you need to position the Chocobos just right with the two buttons to make sure they land safely.
There are several custom elements. As you play, you can adjust the Chocobo’s stats. You can also try to get better time or high score. Not sure if the mobile game will connect to the Switch settings to unlock anything.
Here are some screenshots of the title.
