However, both fighters are ready, eager and ready to get back into the ring to show the world who is the better fighter.
This Saturday night, at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, 17-0-2 Castano will once again face Charlo 34-1-1 for the undisputed junior middleweight title. Castano holds the WBO belt, while Charlo holds the WBA, WBCA and IBF titles. Both men possessed an incredible amount of confidence as well as the belief that he, and not his opponent, was the true king of middleweight opponents. Not even just a title fight, Saturday’s game will be a battle to be clear. Provided the judges don’t come up with another draw or some blatant robbery happening, Charlo-Castano 2 will provide the world with a truly undisputed champion.
The rematch was supposed to take place last March, but Castano’s injury pushed things back a bit. Castano is said to be healthy and the anticipated second bout between the two men is now ready to take place. It was a war well worth the joy of ending. In fact, behind this incident there will be more public opinion than is going on. It was the circumstance of an event that occurred shortly after Taylor-Serrano and Bivol-Canelo. However, if the first Charlo-Castano knockdown is any indication, the rematch will likely be a nice one.
However, 32-year-old Castano – feeling clearly burned by the judge’s decision in his first fight with Charlo – hesitates to believe he will be treated well by ring officials. more at this time. “My message to the fans is that I cannot promise to win the fight,” the Argentine said at a recent press conference, “but I promise to leave it all in the ring.
