Charlo aims to destroy Castaño in the rematch

Jermell Charlo is not interested in going far with Brian Castaño this weekend in their undisputed super heavyweight title rematch.

The two men battled out a gripping draw last July and on Saturday night they continued this time at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

Charlo, the WBC, WBA and IBF champion, is looking to prove a point in his second world title rematch of his career.

“I don’t want this war to go far. I don’t get paid overtime,” he said during a media workout Wednesday.

“I am putting it all on the winder and ready to destroy. I’m going to give the fans an exciting, entertaining and fun show out there. “

The outspoken 31-year-old said Castaño would have to come up with a new game plan on Saturday night or face the consequences.

“Castaño will have to do something different in this fight. If not, he knows he’s asleep.

Whatever he does or whatever action he does, I will be above him. My goal is to knock him down.”
