Changes are underway to overcome the fierce battle of Halo Infinite

Yesterday, I reported that 343 Industries is looking into Halo InfiniteThe process of getting through the battle, which players have found so far, is very slow. Our own Ed Thorn played for four hours, only to reach the battle level 3 another night. Thankfully, the developers detailed some of the changes coming this week that improve everything – from adding new, easier challenges to getting rid of some of the crap that players have. dislike.

Hinfinite Community Manager John Junyszek shared the details on Twitter last night. He said they’ll be adding a “Play 1 Game” challenge to help players gather XP more consistently and play matches the way they want (instead of being constantly asked to use a particular gun or anything else). On top of that, 343 will double the duration of XP Boosts, so they’ll last an hour instead of just 30 minutes.

“We’ll also tweak, fix, and remove some of the challenges weekly based on your feedback,” he added. “These difficulty adjustments will help you get through the weekly challenges faster and thus directly speed your progress through the battle.”

While there’s still no set date for these changes, Junyszek says they’ll arrive “by the end of this week”. He also warned that, once all of these changes are implemented, developers will need to reset the challenge schedule. To make up for that, everyone who logs in between 23rd and 30th November will receive a shiny Visor Sigil Mark VII for their Spartan.

“We’ll be closely monitoring these changes to make sure they have the positive impact we all want on your progress,” Junyszek said. “This is just the first step for us – we’re committed to continuing to develop these systems, but it will take time. Thank you for joining our beta and keep sending feedback!”

All of these sound like pretty good edits to me. I still find it a bit odd that they don’t have a plan to reward players XP with a performance-based match, but hey, at least playing a match should get you a little bit of progress in the future.

I haven’t tried out Halo Infinite myself yet, but I’m looking forward to launching a few games later this week. I’m new to the series, just like many people on PC. If you’re in the same boat, Come and let us know how you found it so far.
