Cardi added that she skipped the Grammys because she was researching new music, telling viewers, “I have to prepare today and I have to prepare tomorrow. So Tuesday, I’ll be going. go away and f – king complete the album motherf – king .”
“I’m rolling out the red carpet and it’s going to be great, but I don’t like it when moms attack me to do some thing and then call me lazy because I’m not doing it,” she said. “One thing I hate is when people call me lazy because I work too much. And that’s why I go crazy.”
Cardi attended her first Grammy Awards in 2019, when she made history as the first female solo winner to take home the trophy for Best Rap Album. The following year, she and Offset, who were married in 2017, appeared glamorous despite appearing fashionably late to the awards ceremony.
The Privacy breach the artist was also at last year’s Grammys, performing the hit song “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion.
