Capture and edit epic and timeless images of an iconic Welsh landmark with just your mobile phone

In this video, Glyn Dewis easily explains how he managed to capture the iconic Prince of Wales bridge across the border between Wales and England. As a proud Welshman this is fascinating to me and as a photographer it is fascinating and really shows the potential that mobile technology can improve. availability and quality of instant photography.

Moving towards more portable solutions is not a bad thing. I carry quite a bit of kit for shooting and sometimes this means that when I want to go shoot for myself, I just want the smallest, lightest kit available. Before, I never thought that using any mobile technology device was a solution to get good photos but personally I am now using iPhone 13 Pro Max more and more (and not just for taking selfies for my dogs and me too!)

He mentioned the kit used included SmallRig Universal Mobile Phone Handheld Video Camera and even longer Apps for iPhone plus he also mentions Joby Gripstrict Smart Mount.

His explanation of editing is extremely easy to follow and detailed. Using Lightroom Mobile and iPad Pro means everything is synced automatically.

Dewis’ excellent method of teaching and explanations makes this an ideal guide if you’re thinking of adding a mobile workflow to your personal projects. He also mentioned how he printed his final image and what kind of paper he used.

Glyn Dewis is a photographer, educator, YouTuber and bestselling author living in beautiful UK Devon. Husband, animal lover, and founder and photographer of the 39-45 Portraits Project. He is a BenQ and Westcott Top Pro Ambassador.
