Despite its 60-year age, the 55mm f/2 lens overall delivers on performance, with beautiful colors. characteristic of Pentax lenses, decent sharpness and contrast, and interesting bokeh that can be utilized in the right situations. Of course, you won’t have autofocus with it (although the manual focus assist of modern mirrorless cameras is great) and you won’t get the clinical sharpness of a single tube. modern glasses from it, but for about $30 on the used market, it’s hard to argue with a lens that produces sharp photos and good image quality for the price such low.
