Camacho undergoes further evaluation after fall


Jockey Samy Camacho will be further evaluated on July 3 in Florida to find out the extent of the right shoulder injury he sustained during a spill. Monmouth ParkHis fourth race on Sunday, according to his agent Mike Moran.

Moran said: “His shoulder hurt, but the X-ray (taken on Sunday at Monmouth Medical Center) didn’t show anything broken. “It may have been dislocated, we’re not sure. But the initial X-rays didn’t show the fracture.”
