The new Frank Sinatra Summer Wind collection, named after a Frank Sinatra song of the same name, includes two regular 40mm date and time watches with clear 1960s style and plenty of distinctive accents. inspired by Sinatra.
Most notably, Bulova places a felt hat, the trademark of the Frank Sinatra collection, at the top of the dial. The orange seconds hand and orange hour markers (on the steel case model) are a tribute to Sinatra’s favorite color.
A clock encased in a stainless steel case and featuring a black enamel dial and matching black leather strap with white top stitching. Second letter encased in a rose gold-tone stainless steel case and features a gray enamel dial with a matching gray leather strap with gray top stitching.
Inside the Bulova fits the automatic 3H Calendar 8215 Miyota movement, visible through the exhibition case on the back. Bulova packaged each watch in vinyl album box-inspired packaging with lyrics from five Sinatra songs.
Long-term relationship
Bulova’s Frank Sinatra Collection has a series of watches named after popular songs of the singer. It highlights the relationship between the singer and Bulova that began in the 1950s with the Frank Sinatra Show, also known as Bulova Watch Time, sponsored by Bulova.
