With the new aluminum chronograph Ducati special edition, Bulgari combines its sporty aluminum-cased chronograph design with the signature colors and typography of Ducati racing motorcycles. The watch’s use of conspicuous materials such as titanium (back, crown and pushers) and rubber (bezel) also matches Ducati’s high-performance image in its colorful iteration. Original Bulgari Aluminum watches were first seen in 1998.

In co-design with Ducati for the first time, Bulgari’s new 1,000-piece 40mm limited edition features three darkened sub-dials housed within the same deep red dial used in the historic factories based in Bologna. And more specifically for Ducati, the 10, 11 and 12 o’clock numerals of the dial echo the same layout found on the dashboards of famous Italian motorcycles.
As Bulgari’s sportiest design, the Bvlgari Aluminum series has long been one of the most successful collections of the Italian-Swiss watch and jewelry maker, with its lightweight case and black rubber bezel ( and sometimes blue) branded Bvlgari Bvlgari.
Bulgari originally matched its Aluminum line with a mechatronic quartz movement but updated the collection. in 2020. Here, Bulgari matches the latest in the line with the BVL 130 automatic movement.
Bulgari supplies the watch with its own rubber and aluminum presentation box bearing the logos of both Italian brands. Price: $5,000.
