The first results of the combination of Bugatti and Rimac have been revealed.
At the announcement Bugatti RimacNew design and engineering center based in Berlin, two of their upcoming cars were featured on the back of a photo under the silkscreen.
One of these teased vehicles is Rimac’s next all-electric hypercar, tucked under a white sheet of paper. The other is Bugatti’s next car, under the blue sheet of paper.
While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what these cars will look like, both have design cues that represent their respective brands.
From what we can see, the upcoming Rimac car seems to share a long headlight design with Nevera and the upcoming Bugatti car has a horseshoe grille similar to Chiron.
While we’ve seen these cars in fine silks by now, their design and shape may change before they go into production.
In an interview with European Automotive NewsThe CEO of Bugatti Rimac, Mate Rimac, points out that The next generation Bugatti supercar will be “strongly electrified” but will “have a very attractive combustion engine”.
“I am an electric car enthusiast, but a Bugatti should still have an internal combustion engine for a while,” said Mr. Rimac.

“When people see the next-generation Bugatti, I think they’ll be surprised that I’m pushing for something like that because people associate me with electric cars.”
However, Bugatti CEO Rimac has said that Bugatti will have an electric car “someday, but not today”.
The new design and engineering center in Berlin will be overseen by Bugatti Rimac design chief Achim Anscheidt and Bugatti Rimac CTO Emilio Scervo.

The center will not only house the design and engineering teams, but will also include other functions including procurement, finance, program management, IT, legal and marketing.
All of these teams will be competing against their counterparts in Croatia and Molsheim, France.
At this stage, Bugatti Rimac has yet to announce the cost and dimensions of this new Berlin engineering and design center.
In addition to the new Berlin center, Bugatti Rimac is currently building a Headquarters 200 million euros (AU$297 million) in Zagreb, Croatia.
In November 2021, ownership of Bugatti was transferred from the Volkswagen Group to a joint venture company named Bugatti Rimac.
The Rimac Group has a 55% stake in the new company, while Porsche owns the remaining 45%.
For now, Bugatti and Rimac will continue to operate separately, keeping the existing production facilities and distribution channels intact.
While the brands will be kept separate, future vehicles will share the technology.
