British Open 2023 live stream, how to watch online: TV time, schedule, broadcast channel Round 3 on Saturday
The 151st Open Championship continues on Saturday with two days of pristine golf remaining at Royal Liverpool. A somewhat unlikely trio of leaders came out on top after 18 holes in Hoylake, England, but an even more unbelievable leader emerged over the weekend with Brian Harman, who hasn’t won on the PGA Tour since 2017, five strokes behind the course.
With Hoylake hosting for the first time since 2014 and a course packed with most of the game’s best golfers after the Claret Jug, the tournament is far from over. British tennis player Tommy Fleetwood hit an equal on Friday to stay five points below, even though he is closest to Harman. Other notable names in dispute but even further back include Jason Day (-3), Jordan Spieth and Cameron Young (-2) and Rory McIlroy (-1). Having just won the Scottish Open, McIlroy was the last man to win the Open at Royal Liverpool.
Fleetwood, who grew up about 30 minutes from Hoylake, sits as one of three co-leads after 18 holes. Not only was he looking for his first major, but his first win in a PGA Tour event. Fleetwood has three top-five finishes in his last six majors and entered the Open with two top-four finishes in the last three such events.
