Airline British introduced a new way to buy Avios at a significantly lower price TPG’s valuationcalled Balance Enhancement.

How to use British Airways Avios Balance Boost
To access British Airways Avios Balance Boost, visit this site and log in to your Executive Club account. Next, navigate to “Balance Boost” and if you have qualifying Avios that you’ve earned within the last 30 days, they’ll appear here.
You can tick the qualifying income you want to increase and then slide between increasing your income by one, two, or three times.
Here’s how much British Airways currently charges (in US dollars) to boost Avios:

TPG . value Avios at 1.5 cents per person, so buying up to 300,000 Avios through Balance Boost can be a great way to accumulate Avios at a price well below our valuation. However, increasing your Avios beyond that threshold will result in a much higher cost, so you should avoid raising more than 300,000 Avios.
For comparison, the usual cost to buy Avios without the bonus is 2.3-3.25 cents per person, depending on how many you buy.

To sweeten the deal on this new option, British Airways will be offering Executive Club members a 10% bonus on Balance Boost transactions until 31 July. This reduces the rates. prices on even more — down to as low as 1.09 cents per person on up to 300,000 Avios.
Limitations on Boosting Your Avios
While this new option is an effective way to buy Avios, the amount is limited to three times the total Avios you have earned from qualifying activities in the last 30 days. Generally, eligible transactions will include flights, purchases on online shopping portals, Avios earned from credit card spending, and most other partner activities.
However, you cannot increase Avios transfers from other airlinesAvios is shared or gifted by other members and previously purchased Avios.
That said, while not explicitly included in the terms, it looks like you Maybe boost Avios ported from some credit card program. TPG Director of Content Nick Ewen experimented with switching from American Express Membership Rewards, capital one And Chase the ultimate reward to his British Airways account. All three are posted as eligible to increase the balance.
However, a previous move from Bilt Rewards does not appear as an option.
