Brilliant Border Collie and his mother win world championships with sinister reflection dance


Jessy the Border Collie and his human Elke Boxoen really have moves. They rose through the ranks and won titles from top level dog dance competitions. And even though they’re pros with a World Champion in Free Jump on their profile, you can still see how happy they are cutting those rugs!

With their mirror image performance art, it’s no wonder they won first place. Titled “Once Upon a Time,” Elke and Jessy present the story of a girl who is sometimes good and sometimes naughty, and one day she encounters an image in the mirror that at first glance seems very friendly. …!

Light up their talented feet

Using a mirror frame with wheels, the dancing couple is in full sync on both sides, like a perfect reflection. Elke’s dedication to training Jessy is evident, and like so many of his breeds, the Border Collie Jessy is excellent, his consistent moves a testament to the hard work of both. him and Elke.

But then the music changes, and Jessy smashes the imaginary glass and rushes to Elke’s head just in time to the haunting music. A fight ensues, and Jessy pushes Elke into the mirror, trapping her in while he dances to celebrate! When the work ends with a sinister laugh, Jessy mimics the giggles of triumph over evil.

It’s not all dancing for these champions

When Elke isn’t dancing, she still trains dogs. But that’s not all the jumps. In Dogz Devotion Academy, her training center in Belgium, she teaches the puppies obedience, athletic skills, the use of scent, etc. And working with animals is Elke’s lifelong passion. She grew up on a farm, learning how to train horses and dogs. Now, that love for animals is reflected in her dancing with her beloved dog Jessy.

But despite their hard work, Jessy and Elke know that sometimes you just need to take a break and enjoy the beach.
