By Netflix Bridgerton is in deep production into a third season, which will focus on the friendship-turned-love relationship between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). And, on the surface, their juxtaposition would be a hindrance to our existence — and subject to all of our wishes.
In a new set of photos, fans can see Coughlan and Newton posing together in their most casual outfits, perhaps out of social responsibility. Newton is sporting purple Crocs, while Coughlan rocks a black and gold slide (plus, one of Penelope’s signature intricate hairstyles). Phoebe Dynevor– who plays Daphne, Newton’s on-screen sister and star of season one – can be seen sticking her tongue out behind them. Plus, eagle-eyed fans will even be able to spot Nicola’s Love Island water bottle placed on the step behind her.
“Mine, mine,” Bridgerton twitter account — presumably run by Lady Whistledown, of course – captions for sweet pictures. “There’s definitely a lot going on here.”
However, the author followed up the post by confirming that the set of photos was made from season two, saying that she was “shaken” by Ton’s reaction.
“After all,” she wrote enigmatically, “who doesn’t love revisiting the past now and again?”
