Asked if she thought the prime minister needed to quit to “expose” the Downing Street parties, Ms Latham, MP for Mid-Derbyshire, replied: “It would be if he lied, and I think he wouldn’t have a choice, because if he lied to Congress, that’s one of the rules. You don’t lie to Congress.”
