“Josie (Carroll) said to me, ‘Raffi, just make sure she breaks in well out of the gate.” She is an unruly horse. Everything is working fine, just like Josie told me, and here we are,” said Hernandez. “Despite the speed, she made everything easy. She just stretched her legs down the lane.”
Hernandez believes that the daughter of Commissioner Will produce.
“I know my horse, when I keep asking, she’ll give me the best she can.”
This is exactly what Carroll has come to expect from her rated multi-stakes star.
“Last race, she missed the break,” said Carroll, who finished second in the Whimsical Stakes (G3) on May 8. “She didn’t get in her place.
“She’s flying towards the end. She handles the grass very well in Palm Meadows and I’m pretty confident she’ll enjoy it. With the win, Boardroom now has six wins, two seconds and a third from nine starts. She paid $7.70 to win.
The meeting room was a $475,000 purchase by bloodline agents Jason Litt and Alex Solis from Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company Sales Spring 2019 Sales for the 2-year-old Spring in training from shipment Q Bar J Thoroughbreds. She is the winner of one of four ponies created from the winning mare Rahy Crazy money .
Her current child is 2 years old, Ever a Rebel a pony of Bolt D’oro 2nd on May 12th at Belmont Park. She also has an aspirational pony of Vino Rosso and a Law Tiz this year.
