BMW teases i5, confirms 5 Series EV wagon for 2024


At the company’s annual press conference overnight, BMW car teases its upcoming pure electric variant 5 series roadster. Like other EVs in its range, the electric 5 Series will be called the i5.

The new 5 Series sedan, codenamed G60, and potentially i5, will be launched in October 2023. It’s unclear when the i5 will be available in Australia, including Europe, the US and South Korea. was the original focus of this model.

If BMW’s latest round of electric vehicles is anything to go by, the visual differences between the 5 Series models with internal combustion engines (ICE) and i5 EVs will be limited to the grille, wheels, and wheels. , badges and possibly bumpers.
