The best silk PJs are equally chic and not casual, and make sleeping or even just lounging around feel so much more enjoyable. The right buttonless silk or satin nightgown can make your night of Netflix and takeout that much more special and a buttery silk gown could be just the thing for your evening – complete with a glass of wine and a dimly lit bubble bath – most needed.

“I’m a pajamas person,” says Prant, so I prioritize comfort and ease of care, especially when it comes to silks. “I wouldn’t buy something that requires frequent visits to the dry cleaners. A good silk pajamas will get you to bed and beyond – be it to a bodega or a coffee shop – and it will last more than a season. ”
