If you ask me, there are several clothing items needed to build well organized wardrobe. Yes White T-shirts, there are various silhouettes, shades and opacity levels; bag jeans just right; a bit loose trench coat; a white shirt that does not wrinkle easily; One leather jacket your choice (I prefer an oversized version inspired by Prada); and of course, a bunch of white tank topis the final base class or only one class for that matter.
As demonstrated at the most recent Prada show, the basics that can be found in every t-shirt or underwear drawer are more than just a piece of junk. Rather, it’s a fundamental piece of the puzzle that is your wardrobe, something that can be worn in so many ways — with a gorgeous midi skirt, big bomber jacket, Mary-Jane Pump and more. On the streets of Milan outside of shows, another big name in fashion introduced an alternative way to wear a white tank: Bella Hadid.
Between shows at Milan Fashion Week, the supermodel was photographed doing a basic look in a pair of shorts and a knit sweater, knee-high Prada boots and black tights. In terms of accessories, she mostly went the Chanel route, adding a pair of vintage sunglasses and a bag with black handles. Suffice to say, she looks effortless and chic, partly because of her top picks.
Where Hadid got her white tank top is still TBD, but I know where I get mine, and it won’t cost you an extra $13. For years, I’ve been buying — dare I say — a perfect tank in packs of three or more on Amazon. And while I want to keep it a secret forever, after seeing it in Prada and on Hadid this week, I can’t faithfully keep my tank on for much longer.
