Bears, Packers continued to face each other on Sunday night. What can you expect?

It was a pre-match Chicago Bears we.

The first meeting between Green Bay and Chicago took place on November 27, 1921, between the Chicago Staleys and Green Bay Packers. Chicago got it when this series turned into the most intense confrontation in the National Football League.

The two teams have played each other a record 204 times. There have been some all-time classics along the way.

Fast-forward to 2022, and this recently isn’t much of a match for Green Bay’s success. The Packers currently lead the 102-94-6 regular-season streak and have won their last six games.

The two teams last met at Lambeau Field on December 12, 2021, when the Packers won 45-30 over the Bears.

Rodgers said: “I love the history of this game. “And when I was on this roster, Chicago beat us to the all-time record. And now we’re up eight, I believe. So that means a lot to me. .”

Personally, Rodgers has some of his best stats against his opponents in the south. He hit 61 touchdown passes in his career against the Bears, his most against any opponent. And in his four starts against Chicago, he has 15 touchdowns, no interceptions and 141.5 passes.

Rodgers isn’t the only Packer to succeed against the Bears, either. Rerun Aaron Jones, who will be a major part of this week’s plan, had six touchdowns in his previous five games with the Bears. Jones also had 993 script yards and seven touchdowns in 11 Sunday Night Football games of his career.

If the wide packer receives Allen Lazard play (he has problems getting into the game), he could also see some success. Lazard had six 75-yard catches and one touchdown in the teams’ most recent meeting.

However, it is not all on the Package side. Bears finish defense Robert Quinn got three sacks and four tackles for losing two games against the Green Back last year. He’ll be aiming for his third straight match with one against Green Bay.

The Bears also have the Packers’ former quarterback coach – and Rodgers’ former confidant – on offensive dispatching staff Luke Getsy. He is about to witness this rivalry from both sides.

“I mean, maybe naturally ‘both sides don’t like each other’ or whatever, but I really don’t like that,” Getsy said this week. “Maybe I’m not paying enough attention to it. I’ll be honest with you. But I just think there’s a lot of respect both ways. I really do. I think that’s why you see Aaron. Getsy declined to say exactly what was on the signs McCarthy once put up around the building, but he did reveal that allegiance in his own home had changed radically. When asked what his kids, who have grown up in Green Bay, expect to do with all the Packer temperaments they’ve acquired over the years, he said: “Oh, they definitely not allowed to wear it.” He also went on to say that his three sons are ‘all about Justin Fields‘ these days.

Getsy isn’t the only connection between these two teams either. Safety Adrian Amos made the transition from blue and orange to green and yellow. Wide receiver Equanimous St. Brown did the opposite. So is the person queuing up to attack Lucas Patrickwho was named by the Bears as captain for this week’s game.

“That’s the nature of a monster in this league,” said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur. “But in particular, when we talk about this competition, I think it can be a bit unconventional. I don’t think it benefits anyone, to be honest with you. I think it’s beneficial. Who handles the situation the best, whoever prepares the best, who shows a willingness to play, who puts in the most effort, who is the most resilient, who plays and quite frankly, performs better another team.”

The Packers dropped their season opener to another team in the division, losing 23-7 to the team Minnesota Vikings. They are looking to recover and avoid losing not just 0-2 in the first division but 0-2 for the first time since 2006, in general.

They will have to face a team of Bears that are about to win (very steamy) first San Francisco 49ers that impressed LaFleur, who is not in this game, despite its recent history, is evident.

“It took a lot of resilience and that’s what they showed,” LaFleur said of the Bears. “They’re doing it with a team that we know very well and are the epitome of themselves. “It means everything,” said Dillon. “As a Packer, especially living in Green Bay and being part of a community, I know not only us as a team but also for the community in Green Bay.

“Any kind of football is my kind of football but there’s something about the competition I just find interesting.”
