No one can believe Canelo-GGG’s ‘absurd’ scorecards
Saul ‘Canelo’ Álvarez closed his trilogy with Gennady Golovkin last night in Las Vegas with a decisive win. Well, decided to come up with some…
Canelo completely dominated the early stages of the match, beating Golovkin in most exchanges. ‘Triple G’ couldn’t do more than a single stab, as his Mexican opponent darted through his available artillery barrage.
Mexican Success Continues, and with each round, victory for ‘GGG’ became ever more unlikely. In fact, Álvarez dominated so early that it was difficult to pin down the 40-year-old with any open games in the opening six innings. Despite the speed increase in the later stages, ‘Triple G’ never made it difficult for Canelo, who eventually went to victory.
Whether Canelo just had his number or, more likely, the final game that came too late in GGG’s career, the Mexican was the very clear winner. Ironically, given the pair’s controversial past scores, it’s hard to believe how close the official score is. This time, it was Canelo, who the fans felt was very hard.
116-112 and 115-113 twice in favor of Mexico – meaning that if Golovkin were to win just one more inning, the result would be declared a draw. Perhaps the talk of past controversies appeared in the judges’ minds.

It is, alas, an all-too-familiar story in boxing and many sports that have had their say on questionable scores.
The evaluation throughout the trilogy is utterly shameful. The first teamfight GGG clearly won the second day of the teamfight GGG again but the third teamfight was closer Canelo won as clear as day but the umpires were over. Some of the worst reviews of all time.

‼️ Canelo Alvarez BEATS Gennady Golovkin by unanimous decision to end their trilogy. Canelo remains the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO super-middleweight world champion, despite tight scores of 116-112, 115-113, 115-113. Terrible rating.

7-5 is the nut.
The two judges seeing it 7-5 is exponentially crazier.

GGG fought Canelo and Father Time
GGG thrives on 9, 10, 11
But Canelo was too fast and dominated the first 8 rds# CaneloGGG3pic.twitter.com/JG7fRhxHvj– Gareth A Davies (@GarethADaviesDT) September 18, 2022

We go to the scorecard in # CaneloGGG3: 116-112, 115-113 x 2 all to Canelo, who retains the undisputed super middleweight title. It’s absurd to have it even 116-112. Stop. The guy on the right won the least. #Boxing
