Audi RS e-tron GT given away in latest fundraising draw


The Audi Foundation is raffling off another car to raise funds for a range of its charity partners, and this time it’s one of Audi’s most expensive cars.

For the Foundation’s 13th sweepstakes, ticket holders have a chance to win a brand new electric vehicle. Audi RS e-tron GT in Daytona Gray, with a street value of $299,994.71.

Tickets for the draw are priced at $55 each with 12,000 available for purchase until Wednesday 30 October 2024 at 5pm AEST. Available to purchase online This.

The lottery is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entrants on Friday 1 November at 3pm AEST, with results to be announced on Audi Foundation website. Winners will be notified by phone and in writing.

Proceeds from the raffle will go to Audi Foundation’s charity partners, including The Smith Family, RU OK?, ReachOut, The Children’s Cancer Institute, Humpty Dumpty Foundation, Youth Opportunities, Zephyr Education Inc and the Country Education Foundation of Australia.

The Audi Foundation says it has donated more than $7 million to such charities since its founding in 2017.

Previous lottery prizes have included a RS5 Sportback, RSQ3 Sportback, SQ8 TFSI And Q5 Sportback TFSI e.

In RS guise, the e-tron GT – Audi’s flagship electric car – boasts a standard output of 440kW, while boost mode increases that to a maximum of 475kW. It also produces 830Nm of torque.

The dual-motor all-wheel drive system is powered by a 93kWh lithium-ion battery.

The RS e-tron GT is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds, with an operating range of about 470km according to the WLTP test cycle.

The car is also capable of charging at up to 270kW on a DC fast charger and can charge from 5 to 80 percent in 23 minutes.

The second prize in this year’s raffle is an invitation to an exclusive Audi Foundation dinner and an Audi driving experience for two at the Phillip Island Grand Prix.

The event includes a private dinner followed by a day at the Phillip Island track, where the winners will have the opportunity to drive Audi performance cars as part of the Audi Driving Experience.

The package is valued at $6541 and includes return flights from the winner’s nearest capital city to Melbourne, accommodation at Crown Towers and transfers throughout the experience.
