Atelier Ryza 3 patch fixes depth of field and texture issues

e Koei Tecmo and Gust release a new one Ryza Workshop 3 patched on April 3, 2023, addressing the field-intensive issue reported on all platforms. This update also fixes some issues related to textures and icons in certain cases. Furthermore, Koei Tecmo says future updates will bring additional graphics options.

This new patch is intended to fix a depth of field issue that causes any distant elements to appear blurred from the player’s perspective. This adjustment will also make the depth of field weaker throughout the game. However, more detailed graphics options for all platforms will be added in the following updates like previously announced.

That’s not the only change. The patch also fixes a bug that caused water surface textures to disappear and improves response times when combining normal attacks and skills. Regarding platform-specific changes, the copyright notice size has been adjusted for PS4 and PS5 screenshots. With the Steam version, the issue affecting key icons when using 4k monitors has also been fixed.

The previous patch also fixed the issue and errors showing up on all platforms. Most notably, they fixed a bug where a quest-related item would not appear when expected, causing all in-game progress to halt.

Ryza Workshop 3 available on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC, and the patch update that fixes the depth of field is available for all platforms.
