On the other side of the sea, life in Inazuma took on a new look after the Sakoku Decree was abolished. The magnificent Irodori Festival will invite many people inside and outside of Inazuma to celebrate a time of art and culture. At the same time, Kamisato Ayato, the young master leading one of Inazuma’s most powerful clans into a new era, will debut as a playable five-star character with an exciting Story Quest.
Down into the abyss
For a long time, The Chasm was Liyue’s main source of ore, especially for its famous porcelain wares. Looking out over this area, one can see that the soil in this area has a reddish purple color. Recently, this area has been sealed off due to a series of mysterious events. However, as a Traveler, you can join a team of experts from various backgrounds to explore the underground.
What we see on the ground is just the tip of The Chasm. The vast underground space has been emptied layer by layer by generations of miners, and unique fluorescent creatures thrive here. Meanwhile, unknown dangers also seem to be paving the way to the known world above. In addition to the hilichurls, Treasure Hoarders and Fatui that have snuck in, you’ll also encounter the new boss Ruin Serpent, as well as enemies from the Abyss.
But you will not be left unprepared in the dark. Lumenstone Adjuvant is a useful tool to light your way. Upgrading this gadget will aid your exploration and also grant you numerous rewards, including a brand new 4-Star Weapon Embryo and a Brand New Name Card.

Festival season in Inazuma
Version 2.6 will feature “Hues of the Violet Garden”, our first seasonal event celebrating the Inazuma festival! Hosted by the Yashiro and Yae Miko Committees, the Irodori Magnificent Festival is a cultural event to commemorate a group of five talented poets from ancient Inazuma named the “Year of Kasen”. This year’s Irodori Festival invites not only local talent but also creative minds from Mondstadt and Liyue. Venti, Xingqiu, and many others we haven’t seen in a while will visit during the festival.
We’ll leave most of the stories and fun for you to experience for yourself, but we wanted to briefly introduce games where you can win carnival rewards. The Irodori Festival will test your creativity and understanding of different cultures and arts through four games and challenges. Both “The Moon and Stars Inscribe” and “The Floral Courtyard” require an aesthetic eye. The first one will ask you to take pictures of things related to the subject to inspire the two poets and help them complete the poem for the day. “The Floral Courtyard” sponsored by Kamisato Ayaka, requires not only good taste but also skillful hands to perform the art of flower arrangement.
If you prefer something more intense, why not try “Clash of Lone Blades”? A group of warriors, each with their own set of swordsmanships, are looking for worthy opponents. For a fair match, no Elemental and Explosive Skills are allowed, but you will be given a new sword technique called Parry. Furthermore, “Theater Mechanicus” is back again, now taking less time but with more strategy in each stage. If you complete all four games and challenges, don’t forget to get great rewards and a chance to recruit Xingqiu!
Young master of the Kamisato House
Some of you may have heard of Kamisato Ayato from his sister Ayaka, Thoma, or even Arataki Itto. From the pieces we know so far, Ayato seems to have a rather odd side. He enjoys drinking milk tea, is good friends with Itto, and always spares Thoma his unsuccessful cooking efforts. One of his Passive Talents even grants him a chance to receive an additional “Suspicious” dish of the same type when he cooks.
However, Kamisato Ayato was acknowledged by the Yashiro Commission and the Kamisato House as a young but high-achieving head. Cultured and polite, he is a man of many ways and means, able to bring his clan back to life in difficult times. After the Sakoku Decree was repealed, the Tenryou and Kanjou Committees were presented with a fun opportunity rare in this reformed era. However, trouble also lurks beneath the festive mood. In Ayato’s Tale of Ayato’s Story “Chapter Cypressus Custos”, you will have the opportunity to witness this young master’s strategic art in handling unusual situations.
In combat, Kamisato Ayato wields a sword and is a master of the Kamisato Tachi Jutsu Art, much like his older sister. With Hydro Vision, Ayato can deal massive AoE damage in a short amount of time and has the ability to increase the effects of his party’s Basic Attacks.
Using his Elemental Skill, Ayato repositioned to enter the Takimeguri Kanka state and left a water illusion at his original location. The water illusion will explode, dealing AoE Hydro damage. In Takimeguri Kanka state, Ayato’s basic attacks transform into a dizzying Shunsuiken attack that deals AoE Hydro damage. After a Shunsuiken attack hits an opponent, it grants Ayato the Namisen effect, increasing the damage dealt by Shunsuiken based on Ayato’s current maximum HP. Ayato can gain additional stacks of Namisen effects when he uses his Elemental Skills and when his water illusion explodes with one of his Passive Talents. However, please note that Takimeguri Kanka’s status will be cleared when Ayato leaves the field or uses his Elemental Skill again.
Ayato’s Elemental Burst will open an area where Bloomwater Blades will rain down and deal Hydro AoE damage to enemies inside. Meanwhile, the realm will also increase the normal attack damage of the characters inside.
Kamisato Ayato will appear in the first Wish event, which coincides with Venti’s rerun. Following in his footsteps, Kamisato Ayaka will have his Event Wish in the later stages of Version 2.6.
