Today Nice price or no dice The Impulse may be the first time many of you have heard of, with little chance of buying, one of Isuzu’s finest cars. Let’s see if its price makes it more memorable.

The first time you drive a Dodge Viper is like your first sexual experience. It begins with a feeling of excitement mixed with anxiety. It ends with a feeling of complacency about achievement or self-pitying for spoiling it brilliantly. Either way, it’s a rite of passage that many eagerly look forward to.

Coupled with a sporty engine and not-so-sporty transmission, this Impulse has nice factory alloys and semi-hidden headlights. It has a body style that is oddly reminiscent of the contemporary Buick Reatta coupe. The paintwork seems to be in pretty good shape, and the car appears to have all the original decals and badges, including the cool “handled by LOTUS” badge on the front fenders.

The interior has some far-sighted plastic Baker relative to their age and condition implied. A carpet wig on the dash and a dual DIN aftermarket are notable additions to the space. Interestingly, the front and rear seats don’t share their upholstery, a way that perhaps even Isuzu admits to the absurdity of rear space.

According to the ad, the car comes with a clear header, new LED lights and a new battery. The seller claims it “runs like a fly”.

The question for all of you is whether this rare $7,000 asking price from Isuzu is at the top of the market. What do you say, is this Impulse worth it? Or, is that too much for an Impulse purchase?
