Astros-Phillies World Series Game 5 . Highlights and Lessons
Match 5 of World Series 2022 takes place on Thursday night with Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros fighting for a 3-2 series lead.
Houston’s Bullpen made history in Game 4, throwing the first miss in MLB history after the season, according to research by ESPN Stats & Information. Astros pitcher Cristian Javier dominated the Phillies’ formation, hitting nine shots in six innings. A relief effort from Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly finished everything. It was a significant contrast to Game 3, when the Phillies beat five houses to beat the Astros.
Thursday’s contest was the last in Philly before the series moved back to Houston. Will the Astros come home with a 3-2 advantage or will the Phillies bounce back from a disappointing Game 4?

Playoff Peña Attacks Again
After the miracle of Jeremy Peña continue.
The Astros’ missed shot hit a homer solo in the fourth inning to give Houston a 2-1 lead. The run home wasn’t easy, as Peña’s fight with the Phillies started Noah Syndergaard transparent at-bat. Syndergaard started quickly, with one tackle and two fouls to make it 0-2. Peña then made a slip-in to make it 1-2 before Syndergaard threw another ball to make it 2-2.
On his sixth pitch, Peña hit the baseball over the fence with a 76.7 mph curveball.
With two hits in Game 5, Peña became the first rookie to concede a single hit in five consecutive World Series games. – Joon Lee

The first round is red hot
Game 5 starts quickly.
Astros’ Second Gunner Jose Altuve Started things off in the first game of the game with a brace that knocked the midfield barrier on the right and edged past the Phillies central midfielder. Brandon Marsh, allowing Altuve to advance to the third base. Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña immediately passed, scoring midway through on his first pitch of the game against the Philadelphia starter Noah Syndergaard for Altuve to score and make it 1-0.

Homeland hero
Philadelphia is doing its best to bring good feelings to Citizens Bank Park.
Before Game 4 kicked off, rapper Meek Mill performed “Dreams and Nightmare” on the field to cheer up Phillies fans before leaving the field with Phillie Phanatic on a four-wheeler. Two Philadelphia icons pull out all the stops to cheer on their hometown team.
