Chiefs ‘Travis Kelce will host ‘Saturday Night Live’ on March 4
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Winning a second Super Bowl in four seasons has perks for Chief of Kansas City tight ending Travis Kelce. One is that he will guest host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on March 4.
Kelce announced the news as a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
“I’m a huge fan [Chris] Farley, [Will] Ferrell, Fallon is the kind of guy who’s growing up,” Kelce said, “And I used to watch ‘Saturday Night Live’ with my mom. It is an honor and an honor to host ‘SNL’ on March 4th.
“I’m so nervous about that, oh my god.”
Fallon replied, “You’ll be great. I’m talking to [‘SNL’ creator] Lorne [Michaels] today, and I’m like, ‘He’s so charming, he can sing, and he’s fun.'”
Kelce said, “You think that about me? Thanks, man. …You’re making me blush.”
Musical guests that night will be country singer Kelsea Ballerini.
