Hello! My name is Pablo Abraham and I am the Game Director at Wondernaut Studio. We are a small Brazilian team located in the south of this huge country and together we created Aspire: The Story of Ina, a 2D adventure story full of evocative but no less delicate. Think GRIS meeting Limbo. In our game, you will play as Ina, a brave heroine who escapes from a living tower that once imprisoned her in her eternal sleep and no longer had her dreams. When she is suddenly awakened, she sets out on a journey of freedom and discovery.
Along the way, you will meet many different and peculiar inhabitants of the Tower. Some are also prisoners and ask for your help to get free. Others are associated with the tower to serve it. Through these characters you will discover both the Tower’s story and your own; because the Tower lives and breathes, but also nurtures hopes, dreams and imaginations. Will Ina remain a dreamer, or will she wake up longing to be more?
You’ll also solve many puzzles using Ina’s superhuman powers to manipulate spirits that alter the properties of objects around you. Manipulate lights and objects to reshape obstacles in your way. Sometimes you also need to rely on your timing and accuracy to get through the Tower’s obstacles.
And finally, music for Aspire: The Story of Ina has been carefully crafted to create an authentic audio and emotional journey. It combines elements from a multitude of musical genres and styles, with an orchestra and traditional Asian ethnic instruments mixed with fusion and mystical sounds.
