ASAP Rocky’s bail has been set at $500,000.
Rocky was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday morning.
An LAPD press release alleges an argument occurred between Rocky and the victim near Vista Del Mar and Selma Avenue.
“The argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a shotgun at the victim,” the statement read. “The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident and was subsequently treated. s) is involved.”
The rapper was arrested and police served a warrant to search the rapper’s home, wearing riot gear and using an aggressive knife to access Rocky’s property.
California has the strongest gun laws in the nation. If convicted of shooting a man, A$AP faces 20 years in prison.
