New subscribers to Capital One Venture X will earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 in the first three months of account opening.
There are two main ways to use these miles. First, you can Redeem Capital One miles for any travel-related expenses on your claim, whether it’s for Uber or Lyft rides, tolls and parking fees, or rental cars, or for future bookings through the Capital One Travel portal. In this way, one mile of your capital is worth 1 cent per mile, so you’re looking at a travel value of about $750.
But the better option might be transfer your miles to Capital One loyalty program partners — most of which have a simple 1:1 ratio. By transferring your mileage to some more lucrative partner such as Air Canada plane or Turkish Airlines Miles and Smilesyou can easily exceed the base value of 1 cent per mile.

Check your credit score
First and foremost, be sure to check it out your credit score. Capital One specifically mentions that you must have excellent credit to qualify.
While the issuer does not provide a specific credit score range, here is how Capital One determines a specific credit score range. excellent credit score:
I have never declared bankruptcy or insolvency; I have not been more than 60 days late on any credit card, medical bill or loan in the past year; I have had a loan or credit card for three or more years with a credit limit of over $5,000.
Capital One Application Rules
Capital One limits the number of individual cards (not a business card) you can carry in your wallet. If you have brought two or more consumers Capital One Cardyou may be denied for Venture X — even if you have an excellent credit score.
Some of Capital One’s other consumer cards include Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card, Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card and Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card.
Also, you will only be approved for a Capital One card every six months, so make sure to organize your applications accordingly.
Current and former Venture X cardholders
These are the limitations specified in the terms and conditions of Joint Venture X:
You will earn 75,000 bonus miles if you spend at least $4,000 within three months of signing up for a rewards membership. Once you qualify for this bonus, we will apply it to your rewards balance within two payment cycles. Current or former account holders may not be eligible for this one-time bonus.
If you currently hold or previously held Venture X, you will not be eligible for the welcome bonus.
What if I already have a Venture or VentureOne card?
If you carry one of Venture X’s sister cards (the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card And Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card), you will still be eligible to carry Venture X and receive the card’s welcome bonus. The only caveat is that you’ll want to keep a close eye on the timing of your apps.
That said, even recent registrants for one of the other Venture tokens have had success adding Venture X to their wallet.
TPG’s Nick Ewen and David Slotnick signed up for Capital One Venture as the fund offers a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 miles in April 2021 (as of expiration). And both were able to get approval for Venture X less than a year after they applied for Joint Venture.
