Antonio Brown blasts matches: ‘They threw me out like an animal’
Antonio Brown will leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers field after they released him mid game.
“The coach told me that if I hadn’t played injured, I’d be done with the Bucs,” Brown said. Brown said he turned it down because of his ankle injury, adding that team head coach Bruce Arians “threw me out like an animal.”
Brown had an MRI on Monday that said he had “broken pieces of bone”, “a ligament torn from the bone and lost cartilage. The NFL star said it was “too painful”.
“Despite the pain, I was fit, the staff injected me with what I now know is a potent and sometimes dangerous painkiller that the NFLPA has warned against and I dedicate myself to. I did my best for the team. I competed until it became clear that I could not safely use my ankle to carry out my playing responsibilities,” he told the Tampa Bay Times.
Should he be forced to play?
