The wait is finally over.
The winners for this year’s Funny Wildlife Photography Awards have been announced.
On Tuesday, all the winners were announced on BBC’s The One Show.
Countless people enter the contest, but only one can be named as the overall winner.
And the winner is…
Ken Jensen for his hilarious photo of a golden silk monkey on a wire in Yunnan, China, with the caption, “ouch!”

“While hilarious to us humans, and perhaps the best example of anthropomorphism, this is really (and ironically) an act of aggression – like a male monkey. warned against male competition with female monkeys,” the contest host posted.
In addition to the coveted title of “Funny Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2021,” Jensen won a craft trophy and a week-long safari in Kenya.
But he is not the only winner.
There are five category winners and everyone’s choice, other than the judges.
Alex Walker’s Serian Terrestrial Creature Award
Arthur Trevino won this category with Ninja Prairie Dog.
“When this Bald Eagle missed its attempt to grab the prairie dog, the prairie dog jumped at the eagle and startled it long enough to hide in a nearby cave. A true story between David and Goliath!. ”
