Roger Snider started her photography career with fashion advertising. But about 15 years ago, he started photographing trucks carrying large rigs — first in Japan, and then in America. His work caught the attention of National Geographic, which inspired him to seek out the most beautiful large rigs in the world. earth for a photography project that has been underway since 2005. Here we present some of his best works.
This is actually not the first time pictures of Snider’s tractor-trailer have popped up on Jalopnik’s pages. Back in 2014, we wrote about Chrome and Elegant12-month photo calendar of large rigs modeled on Peterbilt brochures from the 1960s, when the truck manufacturer posed for models in smart dress next to new commercial vans best.
