Decorative, colourful, imaginative: Such are the qualities of Amazing Gracie Doodle’s Instagram and TikTok pages, where you’ll find 6-year-old Australian Labradoodle Gracie dressed in elaborate costumes, from a Christmas tree with wreaths and decorations, “baked” for 4 peopleorder of july and roses in her feathers for valentine’s day.
“Holiday pictures are my obsession,” says Fanny Karpman, Gracie’s pet mom.
Fanny started taking pictures when Gracie was a puppy and immediately knew how much joy Gracie’s outfits could bring to the world because it enhanced her own creative power. As a former lawyer, Fanny has had a ton of fun in her personal life. Creating unique and colorful outfits has become therapeutic, she says.
“I feel so much love from the canine community,” she says of online and in-person relationships in Los Angeles.
Inspiration for finding unique dog costumes
Fanny plans her themes and outfits months in advance, draws inspiration from pop culture, and drives around the city looking for bright and engaging art exhibits, murals, and more. city and garden. She carries props, lights, and furniture in her car so she and Gracie are ready when inspiration comes.
Her efforts have paid off. Not only does she get messages from teens going through their own tough times saying Gracie is the only positive thing in their lives, but her cheery pictures are getting more attention. Large retailers welcome.
This year, on the occasion of the holiday, Fanny plans to recreate the famous tongue scene from Christmas story with Gracie wearing a puffy coat and licking a lamppost. Fanny’s trick? A little peanut butter on the lamp post.
