Alma Ibarra retires in her chair. Jessica McCaskill remains uncontroversial

Jessica McCaskill, the world’s undisputed welterweight champion, defended her belt against Alma Ibarra at Tech Port Arena in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday. The match was scheduled for 10 two-minute halves. 10-1 Ibarra had to deal with 11-2 McCaskill came at her with bad intentions right at the opening bell. McCaskill was able to land a few times while Ibarra fought to maintain range.

The second half saw McCaskill rush out and chase like a bull while Ibarra tried to hold off the defending champion. Ibarra was active in the third half. It was a difficult incident, with McCaskill firing, Ibarra firing, but holding back. Ibarra oddly retired on a stool midway through.
