Afrika Bambaataa lost her bust in sexual assault
After being sued for sexual assault by Afrika Bambataa, court servers were unable to track him down to serve him papers.
According to AllHipHop, John Doe in this case claims Bambaataa sexually abused him for four years in the early 1990s. He said he was 12 years old at the time.
When the court server showed up at his last known address in the Bronx, a woman responded and told them she had never heard of him.

“A woman who answered the door (tan scarf brown-58 + -5’5-125lbs) said she lived at this address for 15 years and had never heard of Lance Taylor-Afrika Bambaataa or Zulu Nation,” said waiter Calvin Nelson. Bambaataa has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
The newspaper reported that John Doe has since been granted permission by the court to proceed with the civil lawsuit anonymously.
He is seeking an unspecified amount of damages for “brutal assault and negligence, physical injury, severe and permanent mental distress, emotional distress, depression and shame.” John Doe’s request was granted by Judge Deborah A. Kaplan.
