Jennie apologized to her fans, saying:
“I would like to acknowledge and apologize that my deleted Facebook posts from 2020 have reappeared today,” Nguyen wrote on Instagram. “At the time, I thought I was speaking out against the violence, but since then I’ve learned how hurtful and offensive my words can be.”
“That’s why I deactivated that account over a year ago, and why I keep trying to learn about views that differ from my own. I regret those posts and sincerely apologize for the pain they have caused.”
