Advocacy goes digital with Animal Equality’s Live Hour of Action

Earlier this week, animal advocates gathered for Animal Equality’s first Hour of Direct Action. Organized by the Campaign team, this Direct Action Hour provides an opportunity for supporters to email corporate leaders, write negative reviews for corporations that engage in animal cruelty, and sent an email to Congress opposing the EATS Act.

This Hour of Action is being held in the context of Animal Equality campaign against over-confinement in Denny’s supply chain. Since its launch, the campaign has led to more than a dozen nationwide protests and more than 53,000 messages to leadership from concerned consumers, each calling on the chain to eliminate its metal cages. small size for mother pigs from its supply chain.
